Materials: Rubber Polymers

Choosing the right rubber polymers for your requirement is of the utmost importance. Rubber polymers have different properties depending on the compound it is made of. Check the table below to see some of the rubber polymers we work with.

Wye Valley Precision Engineering Ltd, being rubber moulding specialists have the ability to be involved at all stages of rubber component manufacturing. From custom tool design to suit the specifications required, through to delivery, our understanding of the industry and the materials involved is second to none.

A vulcanised rubber compound’s property is to a large degree determined by the polymer on which it is made.  There is a wide range of compounding ingredients that can be added to enhance the performance and change its properties as well as reducing cost.

The physical and chemical properties of the end product are determined by the rubber polymer and the other ingredients used in the production process. We use our experience to make sure your product has the right combination of polymer and compounding ingredients to get a finished product that is suitable for your requirements.

Below is a rubber materials table illustrating some of the rubber polymers used.

If you do not see the rubber polymers you require for your job, do not hesitate to get in touch to discuss your requirements.
